Understanding Florida No-Fault Auto Insurance Laws

No-fault auto insurance laws require motor vehicle owners to purchase personal injury protection (PIP). PIP coverage pays medical expenses incurred by the patient as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Payouts are limited to $10,000 for PIP benefits.

Contact us to Begin

  1. Contact us via phone or live chat, fill out the form to email us and we'll schedule a time to talk or book an appointment right now. The entire process can be done virtually. 
  2. During our initial call, a Ged Lawyers representative will collect background information for your referral and determine if it’s the right fit.
  3. One of our attorneys will contact you to introduce you to our PIP services, and answer any questions you may have.

Document Signing & Account Setup

  1. We’ll send you a referral agreement to sign containing all contractual details between you and Ged Lawyers. 
  2. Fill out a referral contact form, providing us all the details needed to initiate a successful conversation with your referred party.
  3. Our staff will set up your portal account so you can track your attorney’s fees and the medical benefits your referred provider receives.

We Work With Your Referred Medical Provider

  1. Once retained, our team will establish communications with the referred organization and begin claims processing.
  2. Our legal team virtually handles the processing of all documentation, including the assignment of benefits (AOB) and explanation of benefits (EOB), and billing ledgers. 
  3. We issue a demand letter to the insurance company and handle all follow-up. If a satisfactory payout does not occur, our attorneys file a lawsuit to collect overdue benefits and litigate through final judgment.
  4. Keep track of the entire process using your Ged Lawyers portal account. Simply login using your credentials and easily follow-up on each claim’s progress and your referral fees.
